Costa Rica opens borders to all of the U.S.A.

Starting from November 1st 2020, all tourists and citizens coming from the United States of America will be allowed to enter Costa Rica while only complying with basic requirements.

Starting on October 15th, residents from Georgia, Texas and Florida will be allowed to enter Costa Rica, while providing proof of residency through State ID or driver’s license.

Remember that all residents are required to be up to date with the CCSS payments, or to acquire a 22-day insurance in Costa Rica, while they update the social security payments. We can provide assistance for all this procedures.

Requirements up until November 1st:
– State ID or Driver’s License for U.S. States authorized.
– PCR – RT COVID–19 negative test, taken 72 hours before boarding the flight.
– International or Costa Rica insurance that provides COVID-19 coverage.
– Health pass
Requirements after November 1st:
– PCR – RT COVID-19 negative test, taken 72 hours before boarding the flight.
– International or Costa Rica insurance that provides COVID-19 coverage.
– Health pass.
