Costa Rica is opening its borders with the U.S.

Good News! Costa Rica will start receiving tourists from several states in the United States of America beginning September 1 st. Here’s the list:
– New York
– New Jersey
– New Hampshire
– Maine
– Vermont
– Connecticut

The government also announced that Colorado, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania will be the next states to be
allowed entry in a future date.

The requirements to enter Costa Rica from any of this states are as follows:
– You need to have a valid driver’s license that indicates you reside in one of those States.
– You must present a negative PCR-RT Covid-19 test, performed within 48 hours of the flight.
– You must purchase a travel insurance plan that covers COVID-19 and lodging and hospitalization
costs.

As well, you must complete the online health form, found here.
